A feud from Celebrity Traitors has appeared to have spilled over into real life, after a contestant refused to acknowledge their rival after the show’s finale.

The celebrity edition of the acclaimed game show wrapped up last Thursday, where a massive 11million people tuned in to watch Alan Carr, a traitor, go all the way and win a massive £87,500 (€99,396).

While the chatty man took home the top prize after duping the faithfuls in the competition, sometimes the intensity of the game can spill over into real life — with Niko Omilana and Cat Burns sparking feud rumours following an awkward exchange after the show wrapped.

The video saw Cat offering to give Niko a hug, before the camera panned to the YouTube prankster — and one-time London mayoral candidate — who had a face on him that made it look like he’d rather be anywhere else.

Niko was shockingly eliminated in the first roundtable of Celebrity Traitors, with his younger fans sharing their displeasure at his early elimination in the comments of the video.

‘Niko was the worst one to eliminate so soon! The show was amazing but he would have made it even better and brought younger fans along too,’ one commented, while another wrote: ‘Niko would have been so good, they literally voted him out cos they saw he did pranks like what.’

With more banishments and murders — including of Irish actor Ruth Codd, who lasted four episodes before she was murdered during a game — the show eventually came down to comedian Alan, Ted Lasso’s Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga as the final three.

Alan won the prize but revealed that he was a traitor, scooping the colossal prize for his charity, Neuroblastoma UK — with the charity praising Alan on their Instagram.

‘Alan, what a moment. We can’t tell you how grateful we are,’ the charity wrote. ‘We’ve adored watching you over the last three weeks; all the more so with that glimmer of hope that if you did well, it might just mean something big for our small charity. And you did it.’

‘As our faithful Patron for nine years, your commitment, compassion, and drive to bring hope to children and families facing this aggressive cancer have been nothing short of transformational. As a small charity with a big mission, you know how much this means to us,’ the continued.

‘For many years, we’ve known you to be generous, warm, empathetic, and unfalteringly kind, and we’re so pleased the nation agrees with us on that. Now, we promise to do you proud. Our commitment to you is that through research, we will find better treatments and ultimately a cure for every child facing Neuroblastoma.’
