Cillian Murphy's son Aran is set to star alongside Sharon Horgan in an upcoming series.
It would appear that the youngster is a chip of the old block, after it was previously announced that he was to make his debut on the big screen in Taika Waititi's adaption, Klara and the Sun, starring alongside Amy Adams and Jenna Ortega.
Now, Aran Murphy is to star in a new series opposite Sharon Horgan, with his agency, Lisa Richards Agency confirmed that he has been cast in upcoming HBO and Merman Television Ltd series, YOUTH. Merman Television Ltd was founded by Sharon Horgan.
"We are pleased to announce that Aran Murphy has joined the cast of the upcoming HBO/ Merman series YOUTH", they said. "Aran is cast alongside Sharon Horgan, Rupert Friend, Sharlene Whyte, and Robbie Gee".
"The series follows a 50-year-old divorcee’s search for sex and love whilst juggling caring for her ailing parents and parenting her should-be grown-up son", the agency added. "Sharon also writes and executive produces the series. Additional executive producers are Faye Dorn (Merman), Jim Kleverweis, and Dawn Shadforth, who will also direct".
Previously, Oscar winning actor, Cillian Murphy had admitted that his wife Yvonne McGuinness and their sons Aran and Malachy keep him grounded.
