Nicola Coughlan has revealed that she has landed a role as Diplomat Barbie in the upcoming film about the world famous doll, starring Ryan Gosling.
The film which is set for release on July 21, will see the Derry Girls and Bridgerton star feature alongside Dua Lipa, Emerald Fennell, Ncuti Gatwa, with Oscar winning actress Helen Mirren as narrator.
Barbie will also feature Michael Cera and Sex Education stars Emma Mackey and Connor Swindells, with other actors including Will Ferrell and America Ferrera.
Ryan Gosling and Margo Robbie will portray the starring roles of Barbie and Ken, for a film whose script was written by Greta Gerwig and her husband Noah Baumbach, who directed 2005's The Squid And The Whale, as well as 2019's Marriage Story.
