Domhnall Gleeson was spotted supporting his father Brendan as the actor made a return to the stage at Dublin's 3Olympia this week.
The Banshees of Inisherin star was supported by his son Domhnall as well as his wife Mary, Domhnall's mother. The pair turned up at the Dublin venue, as Gleeson starred on the opening night of his new play, The Weir.
The play sees four local men gather in an isolated pub on a stormy night in rural Ireland. However, their "usual banter and everyday lives are disrupted by the arrival of a woman called Valerie".
A synopsis for the play reads: "The stories they weave to impress her are gripping, haunting and deeply unsettling. Little do they know that she has a profoundly personal story of her own, the sharing of which will leave them all shaken".
On the night, Domhnall and Mary were joined by a number of household names, including Robert Sheehan, Claire Byrne, Elaine Crowley and Kathryn Thomas.
The play will run until September 6 at the 3Olympia, before finishing at London's West End. Tickets which cost €26.50, and are available here.
Brendan and Mary Gleeson have been married since 1982 when Brendan was working as a secondary school teacher, and share four sons together, including Domhnall, Brian, Fergus and Rory.
