Emma Watson has confirmed her new romance with Mexican billionaire entrepreneur Gonzalo Hevia Baillares, with the couple spotted sharing a passionate kiss during a recent trip to Mexico.
The Harry Potter star, best known for playing Hermione Granger in the hugely successful film franchise, was photographed packing on the PDA with Hevia Baillares at Mexico City International Airport, where the pair were surrounded by security.
Photos showed the couple embracing and kissing while travelling through the terminal, before they were later seen together multiple times across Mexico City. They have also reportedly taken a trip to the exclusive Punta Mita beach resort on Mexico’s Pacific coast, a luxury destination popular with wealthy international visitors.

The romance comes after Watson was previously linked to Kieran Brown, a fellow student she reportedly met while studying at the University of Oxford, where the actress has been pursuing a master’s degree in creative writing. The pair were believed to have been dating last year, although the relationship now appears to have ended.
Gonzalo Hevia Baillares comes from one of Mexico’s wealthiest business dynasties. His family built a vast fortune through the Baillères Group, a powerful conglomerate with major interests in mining, retail and finance.
His grandfather, Alberto Baillères, who died in 2022, was widely considered one of the richest individuals in Mexico’s history. At the time of his death, he was estimated to have a net worth of around $8.6 billion — roughly €7.9 billion.
The business empire includes Grupo BAL, a holding company with investments across several industries, including the Fresnillo mining company, one of the world’s largest producers of silver.
While Hevia Baillares himself has largely stayed out of the public spotlight compared to other members of the family, he is known to be involved in entrepreneurial ventures connected to the group’s wider business interests.
