Eve Hewson is to star in a new film set in Dublin, which will be produced by Lenny Abrahamson.
The actress, daughter of U2 frontman Bono, will star in this new film alongside Tom Burke, which will begin production in Dublin on March 2, which will also include newcomer, Shane Meagher among the cast.
Abrahamson, who is renowned for his work with Room, Normal People, and Conversations With Friends, will produce this movie alongside the Dublin based, Element Pictures. The project will see Abrahamson reunite with many collaborators from Normal People and Conversations With Friends, including composer, Stephen Rennicks, and photographer Suzie Lavelle.
The film itself which remains untitled at the time of writing, is to be set in Dublin's Jewish community in the late 1970s.
This comes ahead of Hewson's forthcoming project, which will see her star in Stephen Spielberg's sci-fi thriller, Disclosure Day, which hits the cinema screens on 12 June. The cast also includes Josh O'Connor, Emily Blunt, Colin Firth and Colman Domingo.
A synopsis for this film reads: "If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to seven billion people".

Speaking about the film, Universal Pictures released this statement.

They added: "Based on a story by Spielberg, the screenplay is by David Koepp, whose previous work with Spielberg includes the scripts for Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull".
