Mariah Carey has said that she refuses to believe in the passing of time.
The singer made these comments while speaking on Capital FM earlier this week, which saw her discuss a vast range of topics, ranging from clocks to birthdays, as well as opening up about her somewhat unconventional birthdays.
When asked by one of the presenters Jordon North if she does not believe in the passing of time, Mariah Carey replied: "That is true".
Co host Sian Welby then asked Carey to expand on the topic, to which the singer added: "I just don't believe in it".
Leaving presenters confused by her answers, Chris Stark then asked Carey if she simply had an issue with changing time zones.
"No just time", Carey stated.
Elsewhere, Mariah Carey also revealed that she does not pay attention to getting older, stating that she does not believe in birthdays.
"I don't have a birthday, no," she explained. "Anniversaries, yes".
This did not make things any clearer as far as the hosts were concerned, with Stark going on to ask Carey if she would even adhere to the traditional timekeeping methods.
"Yeah, I would have someone call you and figure it out", she said.
