Van Der Beek is also auctioning props from Varsity Blues to help him cover the costs of his treatment for stage 3 colorectal cancer.
The Dawsons Creek actor has teamed up with UK-based memorabilia specialist Propstore for its Winter Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction.
The auction runs from the 5th to the 7th of December in London. Online bidding will be available worldwide.
All proceeds from Van Der Beek's props will go towards his cancer treatment. Props from Dawson’s bedroom, such as an E.T. plush and an Indiana Jones figurine box are among items going under the hammer.
Maegen Hensley, director of Propstore asset management said: "There’s not a lot of actors that are ever gifted these items from these shows. So, it was very special that he was able to take them."
The 48 year old actor revealed in 2024 that he had been diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer and has been outspoken about the financial impacts of the disease and how demanding the process is.
He told PEOPLE in an interview, "I’ve been storing these treasures for years, waiting for the right time to do something with them," adding that "it’s clear that the time is now".
