Jennifer Lopez Dismisses Ben Affleck Divorce Question Amid Rumours

Jennifer Lopez dismissed a question about her marriage to Ben Affleck amid ongoing rumours that the couple are set to divorce.

Lopez had been promoting her new Netflix movie Atlas in Mexico City without Affleck by her side. Affleck was also a noticeable absentee from last month's Met Gala event, despite the fact that Lopez was a co-chairperson. 

The actress and singer was promoting this film when she was asked by reporters about the current state of marriage. The couple have been married since 2022.

In a video of the press conference shared via social media, Lopez was asked: "Is your divorce with Ben Affleck real? These rumours? "What is the truth? Para le press le Mexicana [for the Mexican press], what is the truth of the situation?". 

This question was quickly shot down by J-Lo's co-star, Simu Liu, who chimed in with: "Ok, we’re not doing that. Thank you so much guys, we really appreciate it. Thank you". 

Jennifer Lopez then remarked: "You know better than that". Liu then added: "Don't come in with that energy please". 

"If I could just end on one thing", Liu said at the end of the press conference. "Jen is a producer on this movie and the reason why I am here and why Sterling [K Brown] was in this beautiful movie is because Jen cares. And Jen cares about things like representation and diversity, and she’s a boss". 

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were previously engaged in 2004, before splitting up. They reunited, before tying the knot in July 2022.
