Jeremy Renner Wrote His "Last Words" To His Family Following Accident

Jeremy Renner has revealed that he wrote his "last words" to his family while lying in hospital following his snowplough accident on New Year's Day.

The actor revealed this news during his interview with ABC reporter Diane Sawyer about an accident where he suffered huge injuries, including a broke eye socket, clavicle, left tibia, ankle, along with 8 ribs in 14 different places.

Renner was crushed by a six tonne snowplough while trying to save his nephew at his ski resort on New Year's Day. 

In his interview, Jeremy Renner revealed that he wrote his "last words" to his family while he was lying in his hopsital bed, as he speaks about the accident in intimate detail. 

“So I’m writing down notes on my phone (which are the) last words to my family”, Renner said. “If I was there on my own, it would have been a horrible way to die and surely, I would have, surely”.

He also added, , “But I wasn’t alone, (there) was my nephew, sweet Alex, and the rest of the cavalry came”.

At this point, Renner's nephew said, “I just perfectly see him in a pool of blood coming from his head, and I ran up to him… You know, I didn’t think he was alive”. 

The interview will also include the 911 call made by Renner's nephew to the emergency services.
