Kate Moss is reportedly being lined up for a Netflix documentary series, in what would mark a major retrospective on one of the most influential figures in modern fashion.
The supermodel rose to fame in the early 1990s after being discovered at the age of 14, but it was her breakthrough 1992 Calvin Klein campaign that propelled her into global recognition.
Shot when she was just 18, the minimalist ads helped define the “heroin chic” aesthetic of the decade and established Moss as a new kind of supermodel — moving away from the high-glamour look of the 1980s era dominated by figures such as Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell.
Over the following decades, Moss became one of the most recognisable faces in fashion, working with leading brands including Chanel, Burberry, Dior and Versace, and appearing on hundreds of magazine covers worldwide.
Her influence extended beyond modelling into wider pop culture, where she became known for shaping trends in fashion, music, and nightlife during the 2000s.

The reported Netflix project would follow recent streamer success with documentaries on major pop culture figures such as Victoria Beckham and Kylie Minogue, with producers believed to be exploring a similar behind-the-scenes format for Moss.
Ahead of the 35th anniversary of her Calvin Klein breakthrough, interest in revisiting her career trajectory has grown significantly across the industry.
According to reports, a production company is pitching a series that would trace her rise from a teenage model in London to one of the most photographed women in the world.
An insider told The Sun UK: “Although she is known for her ''Never complain, never explain'' approach to life, there are signs that she might now be willing to discuss her life in a way she never has before.”
The source added that securing Moss’s involvement would be a major coup for streaming platforms, potentially triggering significant interest and competition between services.
If it goes ahead, the series would be the first in-depth, authorised look at Moss’s life and career — a figure whose influence on fashion continues to be felt more than three decades after her first major campaign.
