Katie Price is to be handcuffed to a politician in the first celebrity edition of a popular reality show.
The show, appropriately named, Celebrity Handcuffed, will see Katie Price and Reform UK MP, Suella Braverman handcuffed together, as they will be forced to do everything together, competing against other famous pairings, including footballer Neil Ruddock who will be cuffed with drag queen, Bimini, while Love Island star turned campaigner Georgia Harrison who will be handcuffed to Lady Victoria Hervey.
Other celebrity pairings include former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona, who also featured in the same edition of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Outta Here as Price. Made In Chelsea star, Mark-Francis-Vandelli, celebrity DJ, Fat Tony, will also feature in this show, as well as Princess Olga Romanoff.
"Celebrity Handcuffed takes a format audiences couldn’t stop talking about and supercharges it with some truly unexpected pairings", commissioning editor at Channel 4, Tim Hancock added. "Just like the civilian series, the celebrity version will be laugh-out-loud funny, gloriously awkward and full of surprises, and will capture something bigger about modern Britain: even when we seem to disagree on almost everything, we might have more in common than we think".
The civilian version of the show was launched on Channel Four back in March, which saw pairs of people with opposing views and habits handcuffed together 24/7. The pair who lasted the longest won the prize of 100,000.
The show's host, Jonathan Ross said: "I loved being part of the civilian series of Handcuffed, and I can’t wait to see how the celebrity version pans out".
"I’ve done my fair share of celebrity shows, but nothing quite like this", he added. "It’s chaotic, it’s hilarious, and I’m so excited for viewers to see what happens when you handcuff a group of famous faces together and put them under pressure".
Celebrity Handcuffed is to be released next year.
