Katy Perry was recently spotted on a dinner date with Justin Trudeau in Montreal.
Perry was dropped off at the Ritz-Carlton hotel after the stroll, before the pair changed out of their hiking outfits, before heading out for dinner. Footage of the pair dining together was shared via TMZ, with the pair spotted at the posh Montreal restaurant, Le Violon.
Former Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau and US singer Perry enjoyed several dishes, and cocktails. Such dishes included lobster, as the security team kept a watchful eye on the pair from the bar.
The 'Firework' singer is also performing in Canada as part of her The Lifetimes Tour. These run of shows includes stops in Montreal, Vancouver, Quebec City and Toronto. She will later head over to Europe in October for shows in London, Paris and Madrid among others.
This comes a month after Perry had announced that she split up with her fiancé Orlando Bloom after 10 years together. The former couple had a daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom in 2020.
A statement said that following an "abundance of recent interest and conversation", the pair had been reportedly "shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting". More on this here.
As for Trudeau, he and his estranged wife Sophie announced their separation in 2023, after 18 years together.
