Lady Gaga has shared a new update on her upcoming wedding, revealing that she will be tying the knot with fiancé Michael Polansky “soon”.

The pop superstar made the revelation during a surprise appearance on Bruno Mars’ Romantic Radio takeover on TikTok Live, where the pair briefly reunited following the success of their recent collaboration “Die With A Smile.”

During the segment, Gaga sent in a recorded message asking her fellow pop star for help choosing a song for the big day.

“Me and my fiancé have been traveling all year,” she told Mars. “But we’re getting married soon, we were hoping you could choose a special song for us.”

The request prompted a warm response from the “Uptown Funk” hitmaker, who suggested a track from his brand-new album.

“If you’re looking for a song to dedicate to your husband, I would say off this new album of mine,” he said. “I would go with ‘Risk It All.’ Track one. So, I want to dedicate this to Lady Gaga and her fiancé. Michael this is for you too.”

The playful exchange delighted fans online and offered a rare glimpse into Gaga’s personal life, which the singer has largely kept private in recent years.

The “Bad Romance” star first confirmed her relationship with tech entrepreneur Michael Polansky in January 2020, after the pair were spotted together at several high-profile events. The couple went public with their romance during Super Bowl weekend in Miami, when Gaga shared photos of them together on social media.

Polansky, who works in the technology and investment world, is known for his involvement with several philanthropic and tech organisations, including work linked to the Parker Foundation, a charity established by Napster co-founder Sean Parker.

Over the years, the couple have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight, though Polansky has frequently supported the singer at major events and performances. In July 2024, Gaga confirmed that the pair had become engaged, sharing the happy news with fans and sparking excitement about an eventual wedding.

While the singer did not reveal an exact date during the TikTok Live conversation, her comment that the wedding will take place “soon” marks the clearest indication yet that the big day may be approaching.

The update came during Bruno Mars’ promotional push for his latest project, “The Romantic,” which was released at the end of last month. The record marks Mars’ first solo studio album in nearly a decade, following the huge success of “24K Magic” in 2016 and his later collaborative work with Silk Sonic alongside Anderson .Paak.

The two stars also share a musical connection after teaming up on “Die With A Smile,” a duet that brought together their signature styles and proved hugely popular with fans.

For Lady Gaga, the wedding update arrives during a particularly busy period in her career. The singer has continued balancing her music projects with acting roles in recent years, following her acclaimed performances in films such as “A Star Is Born” and “House of Gucci.”

As speculation now builds around the couple’s upcoming wedding, fans will no doubt be eager to see whether Bruno Mars’ suggestion of “Risk It All” ends up becoming the soundtrack to the big moment.
