Lily Allen has revealed that her critically and commercially successful new album West End Girl could soon be adapted into a stage play, potentially in London’s famed West End.
The British singer told The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that talks are underway in London about turning the album into a theatrical production. When Fallon asked if she was involved, she responded, “I might be… The ink is not dry — is that what they say? Something like that. But, you know, I’m definitely having some conversations with people about it. It’s very exciting.”
West End Girl, released on 24 October 2025, is Lily’s fifth studio album and her first in seven years, arriving through BMG. The record merges Lily’s signature storytelling with deeply personal themes, exploring heartbreak, emotional vulnerability, and life changes, and it has resonated with fans and critics alike.
The album has been a major success, with West End Girl surpassing 150 million global streams, reflecting the strong momentum behind Lily Allen’s return. It also debuted at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart, marking her highest-charting release in more than a decade.
