A 48 year old man has been charged with harassing Jennifer Aniston, before crashing his car through her LA home.
Jimmy Wayne Carwyle has been charged with felony stalking and vandalism, having been allegedly stalking the Friends star for two years. He also faces aggravating circumstances of making threats of great bodily harm, according to LA County District Attorney, Nathan Hochman.
Prosecutors have claimed that the accused started to harass Jennifer Aniston on social media, where he referred to her as "Jennifer A". It was also alleged that he also sent her unwanted voicemails, emails and social media messages, which all began in 2023, according to the criminal complaint.
It has also been claimed that Mr Carwyle drove his vehicle through Ms Aniston's front gate, causing serious damage. A security guard intervened, and detained the assailant, before police arrived and arrested him.
The 48 year old who is from New Albany, Mississippi, has been in custody since since his arrest, before his arraignment today. His bail was set at $150,000.
In a statement, LA District Attorney, Nathan Hochman released this statement.
"My office is committed to aggressively prosecuting those who stalk and terrorise others, ensuring they are held accountable", he said.
If found guilty, Mr Carwyle could face up to 3 years in prison.
