Irish television personality and social media star Maura Higgins has secured a place on the prestigious TIME100 Creators list for 2026, joining a selection of the world's most influential digital creators.
The Longford native is among 100 creators recognised by TIME magazine for their impact across a broad range of industries, including entertainment, fashion, beauty, food, sport, education and culture. The annual list celebrates individuals who have successfully built powerful online communities and shaped conversations across major digital platforms.
Higgins appears alongside some of the biggest names in online media, including MrBeast, Khaby Lame, Kai Cenat, Sean Evans, Alix Earle and Olivia "Livvy" Dunne.
In its profile, TIME noted that although many reality television contestants enjoy only brief periods in the spotlight, Higgins has managed to transform her appearance on Love Island into a thriving international career. Since first appearing on the ITV dating series in 2019, she has established herself as a familiar face on television while also building a significant presence across social media.
The magazine highlighted how Higgins has amassed more than 4.3 million followers on Instagram, where she regularly shares fashion, beauty and lifestyle content, as well as updates from her television projects and public appearances. Since leaving Love Island, Higgins has expanded her television career considerably.
