Maura Higgins may be well-versed in fame and all that comes with it, but that doesn't mean that the Longford lady didn't get excited when she saw her face on a billboard in Los Angeles.
The 35-year-old joins a celeb-filled line-up, including Taylor Swift's future mother-in-law Donna Kelce and Real Housewife Lisa Rinna, as one of the names for the upcoming series of The Traitors US in a bid to break America.
She took to social media to proudly show off a poster of all the contestants towering over Sunset Plaza, before sharing a clip of their faces on the side of a bus stop. How exciting!
Her fans couldn't wait to see her on the show as they jumped to the comments, writing: 'I need to see you as a Traitor, or I’m gonna riot, how iconic would that be.'
Another said: 'I'm in, Maura Higgins is entertainment GOLD,' while a third predicted: 'They ain't ready for Maura'
The Traitors US is set to air on Peacock from January 8, but we have high hopes that Irish viewers will be able to watch it on the RTÉ Player as seasons one and two of The Traitors US are available...
