Meghan Markle has addressed the recent viral video of her dancing in the delivery room before she gave birth.
The video was posted by the Duchess of Sussex, prior to the arrival of her second child, Princess Lilibet, and was played to the TikTok song, Baby Momma. The video also features Meghan's husband Prince Harry, who is also spotted throwing in a few shapes.
Speaking about the clip in an upcoming podcast episode of Aspire With Emma Garde, Markle said: "You have to be authentic. 'Did you see my "Baby Momma" dance?".
Markle also said that she cannot wait to share more content showing her true self on social media.
"That wasn't yesterday, that was four years ago. So it's also a really great reminder that with all the noise or whatever people do, there's still a whole life - a real, authentic, fun life - that's happening behind the scenes", she said. "I'm just grateful that now, being back on social as well, I have a place where I can share it on my own terms".
Explaining the caption, Markle added: "Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work - there was only one thing left to do".
This also comes after Markle had also shared a photo of daughter Princess Lilibet to mark her fourth birthday earlier this month. More on this here.
