Mia Goth has filed for divorce from Shia LaBeouf after nearly 10 years of marriage.
The 32-year-old British actress filed a petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday, citing irreconcilable differences.
According to court documents, the couple have been separated since July 2025.

Goth is seeking primary legal and physical custody of the couple’s four-year-old daughter, with visitation rights for LaBeouf, 40.
She has also asked the court to deny spousal support to both parties.
Goth and LaBeouf first met while working on the 2012 film Nymphomaniac: Vol. II.
The pair began a relationship and married in 2016, although their relationship has faced several difficult periods over the years.

The divorce filing comes after a series of legal issues involving LaBeouf.
In July 2025, musician FKA Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, and LaBeouf settled a high-profile domestic abuse lawsuit that had been filed in 2020.
The case was dismissed with prejudice, meaning the claims cannot be brought again in the same form.

Barnett had accused LaBeouf of sexual battery, assault, emotional distress and knowingly transmitting a sexually transmitted disease during their relationship between 2018 and 2019.
She described experiencing physical, verbal and emotional abuse and said the relationship had left her with PTSD.
Another former girlfriend, Karolyn Pho, also made allegations of abusive behaviour against the actor.

LaBeouf previously acknowledged that he had hurt people during periods of serious personal difficulties. He has spoken publicly about struggling with alcoholism and PTSD and said he entered therapy and a 12-step programme.
The legal issues continued into 2026. In March, Barnett filed another lawsuit involving a nondisclosure agreement she claimed violated California law. That dispute was subsequently resolved.
In June, LaBeouf pleaded guilty to three counts of simple battery following an altercation in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. He was sentenced to two years of probation.

The divorce filing now marks another major development in LaBeouf and Goth's relationship, with Goth seeking primary custody of their daughter while allowing LaBeouf visitation.
The couple have not publicly commented on the latest divorce filing.
