Bridgerton co stars Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton have won TV Moment of the Year at the Edinburgh TV Festival Awards.
The pair won this award for The Carriage Scene in season three of the Netflix hit series. This scene shows Coughlan's character Penelope Featherington and Newton's Colin Bridgerton reach the fork in the road regarding their friendship.
This was a category which also included Coughlan's fellow Irish actor, Saoirse Ronan for her appearance on The Graham Norton Show, following comments she made about gender-based violence.
Elsewhere, Netflix also landed the award for Streamer of the Year, while Adolescence star Owen Cooper won Best Newcomer. Other winners on the night include Baby Reindeer's Jessica Gunning (Best TV Actor – Drama), Alma's Not Normal star Sophie Willan (Best TV Actor – Comedy), After the Party (Best International Drama), and Big Boys (Best Comedy Series).
