Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have separated after 19 years of marriage, according to reports.
Various news outlets have cited unidentified sources for this reported break up, with the couple allegedly living apart in the early Summer. Country music star Keith Urban moved out of the family home in Nashville, Tennessee and acquired his own residence in the country music capital.
This was first reported by TMZ, who broke the story.
The publication along with People magazine, both had reported that Oscar winning actress Nicole Kidman, was opposed to this separation, and had been fighting to keep their marriage intact.
Several publicists and management representatives for the pair did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Kidman and Urban married in June 2006, having met at a Hollywood event promoting Australia in January 2005. The pair share two daughters, Faith Margaret aged 14, and Sunday Rose aged 17. Nicole Kidman also has two adopted children from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise.
