No Ordinary Joe: President Joe Biden To Run For 2024 Election

US President Joe Biden has signalled his intentions to run for a second term in the White House.

Mr Biden is to run again for another term, with Kamala Harris to once again serve his running mate.

The US President announced his intentions to run for another term at the White House, as his campaign team shared a video online, where he called out the Republican Party, branding them "MAGA extremists".

The MAGA refers to the 'Make America Great Again' slogan used by former president Donald Trump, who could be Biden's election opponent next year.

"When I ran for president four years ago, I said we're in a battle for the soul of America, and we still are", he can be heard saying. "This is not a time to be complacent. That's why I'm running for re-election".

"Let's finish this job. I know we can",

The video also saw Biden insist that his job is to defend American democracy, claiming that the Republican party are a threat to that, with their threats to ban books, limit women's healthcare, and cut social security.

In a recent poll, Joe Biden stood at 39% in the opinion polls, according to Reuters/Ipos, with many in America concerned about his age, as the president will be 86 years old by the end of a potential second term in office.

However, doctors gave Biden a clean bill of health, insisting that he is "fit for duty", with the White House insisting that is mentally sharp for the rigours of this job.
