Rudd is best known for starring in 'Ant-Man', 'Clueless', and 'This is 40.' The 57 year old actor is beloved for his comedic characters and celebrated for his charismatic 'nice guy' roles.
The film is set to be released May 29th, where Rudd is a past-his-prime wedding singer, starring alongside Nick Jonas, who plays a fading boyband singer.
The second trailer shows scenes of Rudd strolling around Lifestyle Sports in Dundrum Shopping Centre and birds eye views of O'Connell bridge.
"It wasn't the first time I worked here [in Ireland], but it was the longest, I've come over and I've been able to work here a couple of times in little bursts, so it was really terrific, and the crew was lovely," Rudd told the Press Association.
"I've been pretty vocal about my love of Ireland, so getting the chance to really spend time here with the people who live here and with Irish actors was terrific across the board," he continued.
'Power Ballad' marks the first film that Rudd had to 'seriously' sing. "It was a challenge, I was nervous about it. It's not really something I do, and in the other movies where I've sung, it's usually been in a silly context, which gives you a lot more wiggle room. I knew this wasn't that," he told the Press Association.
"But I was excited to do it because, after so many years, it's still fun to feel nervous about trying something new. That was appealing to me. I just closed my eyes, crossed my fingers, and hoped for the best," Rudd said.

In a recent interview with 'People magazine', Rudd praised his co-star Jonas for his performance in the film. He said: “I can’t say that I was surprised because I’ve seen him act, he did things that were kind of so subtle and really deft, the stuff that was going on behind his eyes.”
“He’d be going through these dilemmas, and he’s not saying anything, but you can read his mind. It’s such good acting, and I was just amazed at some of the stuff he was doing. When I saw the movie, it was like, ‘Oh my God.’ There were scenes that I wasn’t there to film, and yeah, he knocked me out," he continued.
