TV star Kim Woodburn, known for co presenting Channel 4 hit, How Clean Is Your House?, has died aged 83, it was confirmed.
The presenter's death was confirmed by her representatives, with the following statement being released.
"It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved Kim Woodburn passed away yesterday following a short illness," the statement read.
"Kim was an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person. Her husband, Peter, is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate. We are so proud of the amazing things Kim achieved in her life and career. We kindly ask that Kim's husband and close friends are given the time and privacy they need to grieve. We will not be releasing any further details".
Woodburn co presented How Clean Is Your House? with Aggie MacKenzie from 2003 to 2009, which became a huge hit for its mixture of tough love and honest advice. She later went on to appear in reality TV shows, I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! (runner-up in 2008) and Celebrity Big Brother (finishing third in 2017).
She also was a regular fixture on TV's This Morning and Loose Women.
Previously, Kim Woodburn had also opened up on her horrific childhood, which saw her suffer physical and sexual abuse. She also shared how she had suffered the awful experience of a stillborn baby, as well as changing her name in order to move forward.
She did encounter happier times as an adult, including a "wonderfully happy marriage" and becoming Britain’s "queen of clean".
Woodburn had faced several challenges recently, including eye surgery which saw her pause her personalised video messages on social media earlier this month.
The presenter is survived by her husband Peter, with who she was married to for 46 years.
