Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill star Michael Madsen, has died aged 67.
Madsen whose performances in both films made him a star in Quentin Tarantino's films, was found unresponsive at his home in Malbu, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department watch commander, Christopher Jauregui.
It has been reported that Madsen died of natural causes, with the actor's manager Ron Smith stating that cardiac arrest was the apparent cause of death.
In a statement, Madsen's managers Smith and Susan Ferris and publicist Liz Rodriguez said: "In the last two years Michael Madsen has been doing some incredible work with independent film including upcoming feature films Resurrection Road, Concessions and Cookbook For Southern Housewives, and was really looking forward to this next chapter in his life".
The trio also hailed Madsen as "one of Hollywood’s most iconic actors, who will be missed by many".
Michael Madsen career dates as far back as the 1980s, including more than 300 credits, many low budget films.
The actor is perhaps best known for his role as Mr Blonde in 1992's Reservoir Dogs, as well as appearing in Tarantino movies, Kill Bill and The Hateful Eight.
