Rihanna announced the birth of their baby girl in an Instagram post on Wednesday. The post was captioned with Rocki's name, the date and an emoji of a bow.
The middle name Irish appears to be a tribute to the singers late father Ronald Fenty's heritage, as he was of Irish descent.

The couple announced their pregnancy during the Met Gala in May of this year. Rihanna appeared in a pinstripe look with her baby bump on display.
Rocky served as co-chairnman of the Met Gala, he told press on the night, "It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up. And I’m glad everybody’s happy for us ’cause we definitely happy, you know."
The couple are known for starry pregnancy announcement, as Rihanna has previously appeared on the Super Bowl stage in 2023 with a bump to perform at the half time show. Riot Rose, their son, was born later that year.
A$AP Rocky said in a recent interview that he was hoping their third child would be a girl after welcoming two sons. "I hope it's a girl. I really do. We're praying for a girl. Our first time, we wanted to know the sex of the baby. The second time, we didn't want to know. Third time, we don't want to know until, you know. I feel like it's going to be a girl. This pregnancy is so different from the other two. You can tell from the experience. I hope it's a baby girl, man. I need that," he said.
The birth of Rocki comes not long after A$AP Rocky was acquitted on firearms charges in Los Angeles in February. Rihanna was consistently present at the trials and when the verdict was read A$AP Rocky leapt into her arms to celebrate the outcome.
