Soccer Am Axed By Sky After Nearly 30 Years

Soccer AM has been reportedly cancelled by Sky after almost three decades on the air.

Launched in 1995, the show was an instant hits among Sky viewers, with Tim Lovejoy hired as presenter and producer, alonsgside co presenter Helen Chamberlain, who presented the show for 22 years.

Other previous presenters also include Andy Goldstein and Max Rushden. The show is currently presented by former footballer Jimmy Bullard and John Fendley.

A spokesperson did not confirm the show's cancellation, revealing that consultations have taken place as they aim to "adapt to the evolving needs" of viewers.

“Soccer AM has played an important role in our coverage of football for the past three decades, and we continually adapt to the evolving needs of our customers", they said. “We now go into a period of consultation to discuss the proposed changes with our people. We are unable to provide more detail while these consultations are underway".
