Succession won four awards overall, including the accolade for best drama series, an award they previously earned in 2020,  before production was disrupted due to the pandemic.  The series tells the story of a wealthy and back-stabbing Roy family.

Elsewhere, Ted Lasso landed the accolade for best comedy for the second year running. The series' stars Jason Sudeikis and Brett Goldstein won best comedy actor and supporting actor respectively for the second consecutive year.

The Squid Game's Lee Jung-jae also earned an award for best drama actor, while Euphoria star Zendaya landed an accolade for best drama actress, while Jean Smart won an award for best comedy actress for her role in Hacks.
