Maura Higgins left fans squirming during her interview with Twilight star Robert Pattinson.
The actor appeared uncomfortable while talking to the Longford beauty at the Los Angeles premiere of his new film with Zendaya, The Drama, at the DGA Theatre Complex on Tuesday.
The Traitors US star interviewed Robert and immediately brought up her love for the Twilight movies at the start of the interview, revealing her love for the vampire franchise, which Robert apparently hates.
They said: 'Huge fan, but don't know he hates the Twilight franchise'; 'I know he's tired of hearing about Twilight'; 'If you're a big fan, WHY would you bring up Twilight'; 'A huge fan of his wouldn't bring up Twilight because you'd know he hates that';
'No one hates Twilight more than Rob'; 'It's a known fact he hates the Twilight series'; 'Bringing up Twilight was a huge mistake, he hates those movies.'
However, other fans of the Batman star argued that Robert now looks back fondly on the Twilight series and likes to 'joke' about them publicly.
'Real fans know he only hated it when he was younger & now he likes it. Huge fans also know he even said he wouldn't be opposed to doing another one'
'Any real fan knows he said it's not cool to hate Twilight anymore and that he talks highly of them now'; 'Lmao, he doesn't care. He just likes to joke about the movies.'
