The new trailer for the Oscar tipped movie, Hamnet, has been released. You can check it out below.
Starring Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal, Hamnet "tells the powerful love story that inspired the creation of Shakespeare's timeless masterpiece, Hamlet".
Directed by Oscar winning Chloé Zhao, Hamnet is based on the bestselling book of the same name, which was written by author Maggie O'Farrell. She also adapted for the movie alongside Zhao. The novel is based on William Shakespeare's son Hamnet, who died in 1596 aged 11, and his parents' subsequent grief.
The movie also sees Normal People star Paul Mescal play William Shakespeare and Jessie Buckley portray the legendary playwright's wife, Agnes. It also stars Joe Alwyn and Emily Watson.
Hamnet will hit the cinema screens on January 9 next year.
