The White Lotus co stars Aimee Lou Wood and Walton Goggins have dismissed reports suggesting that the pair in a feud.
This comes amid speculation that the two stars have drifted apart after starring on the HBO Show, which explores the lives of guests and staff at a luxury resort, as sinister secrets are revealed, and tensions rise during the holiday.
In the show's third season, Wood's character Chelsea tries to keep her mysteries boyfriend Rick, who is played by Goggins, calm in Thailand.
Following the latest series of the show, Walton Goggins appeared to step away from his fellow cast members. He also appeared to unfollow Wood on Instagram.
Since then, the pair have addressed rumours of that they had fallen out, during a joint interview with Variety.
"There is no feud. I adore, I love this woman (Aimee) madly, and she is so important to me", Goggins insisted, before going on to add that "she's special", and that he refrained from speaking about these rumours previously, as he did not want to talk about Wood when she was not there.
Wood commented: "I think it’s such a comment on where we’re at culturally. Why is everyone obsessing over Instagram? That is irrelevant. We don’t give a sh*** about Instagram,".
Goggins also stated that when he finished filming The White Lotus, he "needed to just back away from everyone", as it is his "process" when filming a project ends.
"It’s all so ridiculous," he said. "It’s just a part of me just saying goodbye to this character so that now Aimee and I will be friends for f****** ever".
Back in April, Amiee Lou Wood hit out at her depiction in a Saturday Night Live sketch calling it “mean and unfunny”.
In the sketch, Wood was impersonated by Sarah Sherman, using an exaggerated English accent and wearing big prosthetic teeth.
SNL have since apologised to Wood over the sketch. More on this story here.
