Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce brought together an extraordinary mix of music, sport and Hollywood royalty as they tied the knot in a highly secretive ceremony at Madison Square Garden, New York City, on Friday night.
The wedding, which reportedly hosted around 1,000 guests, quickly became one of the most celebrity-packed events of the year, with names from across entertainment, sport and media spotted arriving at the iconic venue throughout the evening.

While the couple kept much of the ceremony tightly under wraps, the scale of the guest list ensured that details began to emerge almost immediately afterwards, painting a picture of a wedding that doubled as a full-scale cultural crossover event.
Among the most high-profile attendees was actor and comedian Adam Sandler, who was confirmed by Swift’s publicist Tree Paine as the officiant of the ceremony. In a statement shared following the event, Paine said: “The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler.”
Sandler, who previously worked with Kelce on Happy Gilmore 2, has also spoken warmly about Swift in the past. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he said: “Taylor is incredible. Taylor is so damn nice to my family and has always been. My kids have met Taylor a bunch of times over the years, and she’s ridiculously nice to them and warm.”
He also praised Kelce, adding: “Travis is such a gentle, nice guy, and funny as hell. He’s like the guys I grew up with.”

Some of Taylor's closest collaborators in music attended the wedding of the year, inxluding Ed Sheeran.
The musician, a longtime friend of Swift, opted for a notably relaxed outfit compared to the formal dress code, arriving in a patterned suit and trainers alongside his wife Cherry Seaborn.

One of the first celebrities photographed arriving at Madison Square Garden was actress Zoë Kravitz, who attended solo in a beaded sheer dress.
Kravitz, a long-time friend of Swift, has previously spoken about their close bond formed during the pandemic in London.

Music industry figures were strongly represented on the guest list, including producer Jack Antonoff, one of Swift’s closest collaborators.

Actor Hugh Grant also attended with his wife Anna Elisabet Eberstein, continuing a friendship that developed after Grant publicly praised Swift following her Eras Tour in London.
In a message posted on X after attending one of her shows, Grant wrote: “You have an incredible show, an amazing and v hospitable team and excellent if gigantic boyfriend (#tequilashots.). Thanks so much from one ageing London boy, wife and thrilled 8 year old.”
Swift later responded publicly, saying: “As a long time Hugh Grant stan this tweet is very important to my culture.”

British broadcaster Graham Norton was also confirmed to have attended after Swift previously joked during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show that he would be invited.
Norton later recalled Swift telling him: “Anyone I’ve ever talked to will receive an invitation.”

The sports world was heavily represented due to Kelce’s NFL connections, with several current and former players reported to be in attendance.
Among them were Cooper Kupp, Joe Buck, and Abby Wambach, adding to the crossover between American football and entertainment culture that has defined Swift and Kelce’s relationship.
Hollywood figures such as Jason Sudeikis, Chris Rock, Jessica Alba, Steven Spielberg, Stephen Colbert, and Eric Stonestreet were also spotted entering the venue, making the guest list one of the most diverse assemblies of A-list talent in recent memory.

The music industry turnout extended beyond Swift’s closest collaborators, with appearances from artists including Sabrina Carpenter, Camila Cabello, Benson Boone, Dua Lipa, Kelsea Ballerini, and Miranda Lambert, alongside country and pop figures connected to both Swift and Kelce’s wider circles.

Behind the scenes, reports suggested that Swift and Kelce opted for a highly unconventional ceremony structure. According to statements attributed to Swift’s publicist and other attendees, there were no traditional bridesmaids or groomsmen.
Instead, Kelce’s brother Jason Kelce served as best man, while Swift’s brother Austin Swift acted as her “man of honour.”

Further reports indicated that the venue was transformed into a themed setting described by AMC CEO Adam Aron, who briefly posted and deleted comments on X, referring to a “lush countryside retreat” aesthetic with artificial trees and an intimate seating arrangement.
While Aron did not directly quote the couple, his description added to the growing picture of a carefully staged production blending spectacle with intimacy despite the reported 1,000-guest attendance.

Notably absent from the guest list was actress Blake Lively, once considered one of Swift’s closest friends. Instead, Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds were reportedly seen in Lake Placid, supporting their daughter at an equestrian event.
