Fans of the popular YouTuber Zoella and her husband Alfie Dayes have become even more worried that the couple are leaving the platform.
Zoella, real name Zoe Sugg, and her fiancé Alfie, whom she’s been with since 2012, are two of the most popular YouTubers in the UK; Zoe is known for her vlogging series such as ‘Vlogmas,’ where she films every day over Christmas, and ‘Vlogust,’ where she films and uploads every day in August.
Fans of Zoe have wondered if the influencer, who boasts over 20 million followers on YouTube and Instagram, was taking a hiatus from posting, as she hasn’t posted on any social media platforms since December.
However, fans who were waiting for her to return for Vlogust were left sorely disappointed when she didn’t return, and have become fearful that she and Alfie have instead retired from social media altogether.
Eagle-eyed fans have intensified the fears that the couple are calling it quits if a Vinted profile that is reportedly Alfie’s is anything to go by — as several pieces of camera equipment have gone on sale on the profile.
A screenshot of Alfie’s Vinted showed equipment such as a camera lens for sale, as well as a shooting grip and mic; the screenshot was shared to TikTok by user Stacey Seyer.
However, since you’re able to message sellers on Vinted, Stacey chanced her arm and messaged him on the platform to ask if this meant what she thought it did — something Alfie denied, saying that the only reason he was selling the camera equipment was because it wasn’t the brand that they film with.
‘Nooooo. Does this mean you’re officially not coming back?’ Stacey asked Alfie, who replied: ‘We don’t film on Sony don’t worry! We shoot Canon.’
Zoe and Alfie started their YouTube channels, Zoella and PointlessBlog, in 2009 and independent of each other — they met in 2012, becoming engaged in 2023.
The couple welcomed their first daughter in 2021, before they had a second daughter in 2023. The couple last uploaded to Zoe’s channel over Christmas 2025, and she hasn’t posted on social media since January 1 when she shared photos to her Instagram on January 1.
