Former Kerry footballer Darragh Roche and his wife Tegan have welcomed their second child this week.
The couple, who have one daughter, Isla, were counting down the days for their new arrival, with Isla very excited and ready and willing to take on the role as a big sister.
For Darragh and Tegan, their family life couldn't be any sweeter, a feeling made all the more special after they faced one of the biggest scares of their lives just a few years ago.
In 2025, the county championship winner and former senior Kerry panellist was at home in January when he began to get sharp pains in his chest.
While Darragh didn't want to cause a fuss, Tegan insisted that they call an ambulance. It was soon discovered that the 29-year-old was suffering from a heart attack.
Thankfully, after getting to the hospital on time and spending the next few months recovering, they tied the knot among some of their nearest and dearest in Lisbon, Portugal.
Posting a few pictures on their social media, Darragh and Tegan welcomed their son this week and are on cloud nine.
Darragh told EVOKE that Mum and baby are doing great and told us that they chose the name Beauden Roche, which means 'beautiful' or 'handsome.'
Getting one of his first snuggles from dad, it looks like little Beauden has already found his favourite spot!
