Margaret Farrelly has been appointed as the referee for the All Ireland Ladies football championship final between Galway and Kerry at Croke Park.
This will mark the third All Ireland decider which Farrelly will be in charge for, having been in the middle for the 2014 final between Cork and Dublin, and the 2022 final between Meath and Kerry.
Farrelly, who is involved with Cavan club, Laragh United, has already refereed a game involving Galway this season, which saw the Tribeswomen beat Meath in the opening round of the championship in Bective earlier this year. She also refereed Mayo's victory over Donegal, which saw them secure a place in the All Ireland quarter finals.
Speaking about her selection for Sunday week's final, Farrelly said: "I'm absolutely honoured to be given the chance to referee another TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship final", before adding: "I’m looking forward to a terrific game between two excellent teams" (quotes according to RTÉ).
Galway's clash with Kerry in the senior final, is preceded by the Junior and Intermediate finals, which will also take place at Croke Park on Sunday, August 2.
The Junior All Ireland final will see last year's runners up Antrim face Carlow at 11.45am, which will be refereed by Cork's Conor McCarthy, while Laois official Kevin Phelan will be in charge for the Intermediate final between Fermanagh and Roscommon, taking place at 1.45pm.
Galway and Kerry will battle it out at Croke Park at 4.15.
