Wimbledon Semi-Finalist Joins Dating App

Wimbledon semi-finalist Arthur Fery has reportedly joined celebrity dating app Raya as he looks for love following his breakthrough run at the tournament.

The 24-year-old tennis player, who competed at Wimbledon as a wildcard this year, has created a profile on the exclusive dating app, using images from his impressive tournament campaign to catch the attention of potential matches.

One of the photos featured on his profile shows Fery shaking hands with the Princess of Wales during his Wimbledon appearance.

The British tennis star also included a picture of himself waving to the Centre Court crowd after his run was ended by Alexander Zverev in the semi-final earlier this month.

Other images on the profile show Fery competing on the grass courts and speaking during a post-match interview.

In his Raya biography, Fery listed himself as a "professional tennis player" and mentioned his time at Stanford University in California, where he attended on a tennis scholarship.

His profile also features the song We Are The People by Australian electronic duo Empire of the Sun.

Fery enjoyed a remarkable Wimbledon campaign, reaching the semi-finals before eventually losing to Zverev, who went on to finish as runner-up.

The run saw him become the new British No.1 and earned him around £900,000 in prize money.

Before joining Raya, Fery was previously in a relationship with Honor Millard, who also attended King’s College School in Wimbledon and later graduated from Durham University.

Fery was born in Sèvres, France, a suburb southwest of Paris, to parents Olivia and Loïc Fery.

His family moved to London when he was just a month old, and he later attended King’s College School, located close to the Wimbledon grounds where he made his name this year.

Tennis runs in the family, with his mother having competed professionally. Olivia Gravereaux qualified for Roland Garros in 1991 as a wildcard and reached a career-high world ranking of No.225.

His sister Albane works as an assistant product manager for watches at Christian Dior and is also a keen cross-country runner, while his brother Maxime studies at Imperial College London and worked at Wimbledon this year as a player runner.

Fery’s father Loïc Fery made his fortune as a hedge fund manager and previously owned French football club Lorient, becoming president of the Ligue 1 side after purchasing it in 2009.

On court, Fery’s Wimbledon breakthrough followed a successful junior career, including reaching the boys’ doubles semi-finals at the tournament seven years ago.

He also competed in the mixed doubles at Wimbledon in 2021, reaching the third round alongside Tara Moore.
