Met Éireann has said that temperatures could hit highs of 22 degrees this week.
Following a largely dry day today, the national forecaster has said that temperatures are to hit highs of 17 to 21 degrees tomorrow, with hazy sunshine, before dropping to lows of 7 and 11 degrees overnight.
Met Éireann has said that temperatures are to remain warm for the first part of the week, before becoming cooler in the north from Thursday, with dry and settled conditions expected throughout.
Wednesday is to be another warm day with sunny spells, with a few showers also predicted for the afternoon. Highest temperatures to hit between 18 and 22 degrees, before reaching lows of 7 to 11 degrees.
Sunny breaks have been predicted for Thursday, with a few light showers, according to Met Éireann. Temperatures are to remain between 11 and 15 degrees in Connacht and Ulster, ranging between 15 and 19 degrees in Munster and Leinster.
As for Friday, the weather is to remain sunny, with a few light showers also predicted. Temperatures are to hit between 13 and 17 degrees.
Met Éireann have said that high pressure will mean that settled conditions and only small amounts of rain are expected this week.
"Daytime temperatures look set to climb back into the high teens or low 20s away from eastern coasts with light northeast breezes becoming light to moderate easterly on Sunday", they said.
