On Monday afternoon, Niall Boylan asked: Do you think it is acceptable to smack your child as a form of discipline? The reason he asked this is because of a story in the papers today about actor Martin Freeman who admitted in a candid interview that he has smacked his children in the past when they were misbehaving. It is illegal in Ireland to smack your child as a form of discipline however some parents still choose to do it. So - do you think it is acceptable to smack your child as a form of discipline?
