RTE's Director General Dee Forbes is scheduled to appear in the Dail today in the hope to secure extra funding for the state broadcaster. Earlier this year, RTE cut 200 jobs from its workforce and introduced a 15 percent cent pay reduction for its highest-earning presenters as part of a financial restructuring to save €60 million over three years.
