Gardaí have identified a grey Range Rover as the vehicle suspected of being involved in a hit and run incident in Ennis in May.

The incident occurred around 3pm on the afternoon of Saturday May 15th at the Gort Road roundabout.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision, both having arrived at the roundabout from the Ennis direction. A white Opel Insignia made a right turn on the inside lane for the Gort Road. The Grey Range Rover simultaneously turned right from the outside lane to head into the McDonalds/Shiels filling station, colliding with the driver's side of the Opel Insignia, which received serious damage.

Gardaí are seeking assistance from any members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or have any information regarding the grey Range Rover, and can be contacted at Ennis Garda Station (065 6848100).
