The 58-year-old died violently last week at his home in Cartron Point, Sligo.
His funeral ceremony took place this afternoon at Saint Joseph's Church, Ballytivnan.
Michael Snee's nephew, Aaron Spring, spoke fondly of his uncle during his eulogy.
