It has been reported that Brendan Gleeson is to join the cast for the Joker Sequel: Joker: Folie à Deux.
Production for the film is to begin in December, before getting an October 2024 release. Brendan Gleeson is to star opposite Lady Gaga and Joquin Phoeinix. No details regarding what part Gleeson will play have been announced yet.
Directed by Todd Philips, Folie à Deux will also be written by Scott Silver who also wrote the first film.
Brendan Gleeson is also set to star alongside Colin Farrell in The Banshees of Inisherin, directed by Martin McDonagh. It will be premiered at the Venice Film Festival on Septemer 5, the film will hit the Irish cinema screens on October 21.
