Jamie Borthwick, who plays "Jay Brown" in "Eastenders" has appealed his driving ban.

The actor received a 6 month driving ban last month but the judge has now agreed to reduce it to 2 months.  Jamie said he needs his car to bring his great aunt and uncle to their hospital appointments and he can't get public transport to work at the BBC studios as he gets recognized on the bus.

In December, he was done for driving at 52mph in a 30mph zone and then 2 months later, received 6 penalty points.  As he already had 6 penalty points on his licence, this brought his points to 12 and an immediate driving ban.  However, he will now be back driving within 2 months.
