Jennifer Aniston Says She Has "Zero Regrets" Over IVF Attempts

Jennifer Aniston has insisted that she has "zero regrets" over her attempts at IVF, but reveals that "ship has sailed".

Aniston who played Rachel Greene in popular 90s sitcom Friends, along with a range of films, appeared in a recent cover of Allure Magazine, in a range of risqué and revealing photographs. 

The actress spoke to the publication about the media scruitiny she had been facing over the years.

"I would say my late 30s, 40s, I'd gone through really hard s***, and if it wasn't for going through that, I would've never become who I was meant to be", she said. "That's why I have such gratitude for all those s***** things. Otherwise, I would've been stuck being this person that was so fearful, so nervous, so unsure of who they were. And now, I don't f****** care". 

Aniston also revealed that she had been attempting to "get pregnant" during this period. 

"It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road," she continued. "All the years and years and years of speculation... It was really hard. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it". 

"I would've given anything if someone had said to me, 'Freeze your eggs. Do yourself a favour'. You just don't think it. So here I am today. The ship has sailed". 

Insisting that she has "zero regrets". she added,  "I actually feel a little relief now because there is no more, 'Can I? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe'. I don't have to think about that anymore". 

While chatting with @Allure_magazine, Aniston said the pregnancy rumors themselves weren’t always what upset her the most.

Jennifer Aniston was married twice, to Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux who she separated from in 2017. The actress denied claims that her marriage to Theroux ended, because she did not want any more children, branding them as "absolute lies". 

She also added that there is a "narrative that I was just selfish", and solely focused on her career. 

"And God forbid a woman is successful and doesn't have a child," she added. "And the reason my husband left me, why we broke up and ended our marriage, was because I wouldn't give him a kid". 

"It was absolute lies. I don't have anything to hide at this point".
