Kylie Minogue is thrilled to be part of the Neighbours finale alongside Jason Donovan, calling it "very sweet", and adding that it reminded her of being a "19 year old again".
The pair starred as loved up pair Charlene and Scott, who married in 1987 in one of the iconic moments of the show's interest. The episode was shown in Ireland and the UK in 1988.
Minogue starred as Charlene from 1986 to 1988, with Donovan portraying Scott from 1986 to 1989.
It was announced that the beloved soap would be coming to an end this year, as the show failed to find a new broadcaster in the UK, after Channel 5 withdrew its funding.
Neighbours had been mainly produced in the UK for many years.

"I wanted to be reminded of being that 19-year-old again, when I would get into my Datsun and fang it to Vermont South or the Network Ten studios at Nunawading,' [in Melbourne where the show is filmed]", Kylie Minogue told The Austrailian.
'It was very sweet to be with Jason and to think, "Wow, we're still around"".
Scott and Charlene are two of many stars returning for the finale, including Izzy Hoyland, Harold Bishop and Shane Ramsay.
The penultimate episode of the show will air in Ireland on August 2, with the final episode taking place the following day on August 3.
