The Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi has decided to go public with his Tourette's Syndrome diagnosis.

He has been using various methods to help control his tics but he wanted to let everyone know before anyone speculated that he was on drugs.  The 25-year-old has even gotten botox which can freeze the muscles that cause his involuntary movements.  His shoulder tends to jerk a lot when he is excited or even nervous or feeling stressed.

Lewis spoke about the condition during an Instagram Live session with his fans.  Although there is no cure for Tourette's Syndrome, treatment can certainly help.

His new single "Forget Me" is released on Friday the 9th of September.
