Pippa O'Connor has raised €20,000 for the Ukraine in just half an hour after having a flash sale of her fashion brand Poco by Pippa.

A range of clothing were significantly reduced in price to try and raise cash for the Irish Red Cross.  For example, some jeans normally priced at €110 were reduced to just €20.

Pippa said she was trying to think over the weekend what she could do from a bran point of view after seeing the harrowing scenes on the news.  Apart from donating personally,  she decided on a flash sale with 100% of the proceeds going to help the Irish Red Cross with their efforts in Ukraine.

The clothing line had never been discounted so low in any sale - the idea was to offer them at a really low price to pull in the buyers and it worked.  Almost all of the items were sold out within 30 minutes.
