Ricky Martin's nephew withdraws incest claim

Ricky Martin's 21-year-old nephew has withdrawn his claims that he'd previously had an incestuous relationship with his uncle.

The singer appeared in court via Zoom where the judge dismissed the temporary restraining order his nephew was granted last week. 

Ricky Martin's legal team have issued a statement stating "Just as we had anticipated, the temporary protection order was not extended by the court.  The accuser confirmed to the court that his decision to dismiss the matter was his alone and without any outside influence or pressure.  This was never anything more than a troubled individual making false allegations with absolutely nothing to substantiate them.  We are glad that our client saw justice done and can now move forward with his life and his career".

Ricky Martin always denied the allegation and his legal team confirmed that his nephew has a mental health illness.
