Rob Delaney, the actor who starred alongside Sharon Horgan in “Catastrophe” has described the grief of losing his child in 2018 like “a bus being driven through part of his brain” and the months that followed as being like “walking through fog”.

His son Henry was just aged 2 and a half when he passed away on Rob’s birthday.  He was diagnosed with a brain tumour just days after his 1st birthday.

Rob’s colleague Sharon Horgan had won a BAFTA for comedy writing on “Catastrophe” the night before himself and his wife were told their child might be gravely ill.  He said it was the “heaviest pain in the world” – Rob felt like he had suddenly quadrupled in weight.  If you ask me how I carry on without him, I would tell you I don’t know.
